This greatly improved team cohesiveness and reduced turnover compared to similar teams within the company.Developed an online checklist that included tools to gather photographic evidence for auditing and proof of performance. Editing was performed using an analog tape-to-tape system under multiple daily deadlines.In 2006, the station converted to the Panasonic P2 digital camera system using the AVID Newscutter non-linear editor to assemble news content.Trained and supervised a team of seven news photographers, ensuring each had a working knowledge of white balancing, sequencing, composition, audio monitoring, etc. Evaluated photographer performance and provided coaching when appropriate.Tracked maintenance and registrations for the news vehicle motor pool, including two microwave broadcasting vans.Tracked the equipment inventory for each photographer, including cameras, batteries, microphones, tripods, and lights. When possible, I also made suggestions for future equipment acquisitions.
