I am the Vice President for Global FP&A at State Street Global Advisors and an expert in designing and embedding value-added financial and capital planning practices that inform high-level strategic decision-making. I’m known as a trusted advisor who challenges conventional thinking and views every colleague as an equal. By 2016, I had moved into a role with a greater focus on strategic business and capital planning. In 2019, I was promoted to Vice President in an FP&A focused role in charge of annual budget and multi-year planning for the four State Street entities, as well as financial business partnering with the Senior EMEA Management team.In early 2023, I was promoted into a global FP&A role as a lead Finance Business Partner and Deputy CFO to the SSGA Global Chief Investment Officer (GCIO), where I have been leading financial planning, strategic analysis, and decision support for business and functional executive management.I am proud to have achieved many things at SSGA including: developing multiple business cases for strategic initiatives that made a major contribution to the organisation's strategic growth plans; leading cost / profitability analysis with recommendations that provided actionable financial insights prior to a high-profile merger and integration process; and in an earlier role, I designed and developed an AUM-based revenue projection tool which delivered step-change improvements to the accuracy of revenue budgeting for the EMEA Institutional division.
