In the Allbritton lab worked on the development of a single cell analysis platform. I am used this platform to study acute myeloid leukemia though the use of capillary electrophoresis. In the development of this single cell analysis platform I developed skills in capillary electrophoresis, cellular assays, fluorescence microscopy, instrumentation development, and single-cell analysis.Outside of lab I was heavily involved in teaching and learning in higher education. I was able to implement a teaching-as-research project where I assessed the efficacy of a graduate-school-wide teaching assistant institute and made recommendations for future institutes based on my research. Throughout my teaching development I've focused on the implementation of evidence-based teaching practices to improve the classroom experience for everyone.
