Serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the PCCA and Treasurer of the PCCA Board. Responsible for all financial management functions of the Authority, including but not limited to, financial planning and budgeting, financial reporting and accounting, capital planning, auditing, procurement, cash management, debt management, and investment management. Work closely with major contractors such as the professional management company on all financial related matters.

Budgeting & Reporting: Prepare monthly reports to CEO/CFO, Board of Directors, as well as the annual corporate budget ($200MM+) & monthly forecasts, all Board Meeting presentations, industry research, and competitive analysis. Business Development: Responsible for all financial and contractual support for corporate business development and contract renewals. Interact closely with all levels of corporate staff on strategic planning and facility operations. Work to identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, corporate budgeting, forecasting, capital investments, cash management and mergers/acquisitions. Develop all business arrangements for new business opportunities. Actively participate in all RFP responses for new business.Strategic Planning: Prepare annual corporate strategic plan in conjunction with CEO, CFO and senior operations team.Act as main contact for long to medium term development projects including participation in sales calls, client meetings, presentations and contract negotiations.Work closely with Accounting Department on various business issues, including small company accounting, cash forecasting, interpretation of contracts, and evaluation of new systems.Contract Management: Responsible for contract management functions of company, negotiation and general management functions.

Developed and maintained physician incentive and risk programs, as well contracted with new practices. Act as the main physician practice liaison, worked to maximize performance via analysis and interpretation of financial/utilization data.

Developed relationships with all payers and managed care organizations as well as lead participant in negotiating, implementing and monitoring contractual relationships for all system services. Further responsible for the development of training for compliance with managed care contracts. Worked with internal departments to resolve issues related to Managed Care contracts, including Finance, Accounting, Patient Financial Services, and Public Relations/Marketing.
