As an FP&A Analyst, I manage and analyze our financial performance, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. I also coordinate and prepare comprehensive data presentations and reports for Board meetings, ensuring all necessary information is available for informed decision-making. As a newer company, we all have to "wear many hats". This has given me a great opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in many different areas. My primary function is as a data analyst providing in-depth analysis based on historical data while also giving forecasts to predict performance in the future. I have mainly used QuickSight as my primary source of analysis along with Salesforce for internal customer relations and Excel for those that need stagnant analysis. As my secondary function, I have undertaken a role as a project manager. I have learned a great deal about how to facilitate groups of people in order to reach deadlines and keep everyone on task and focused on the end goal. It is a fast-paced environment that requires discipline and the willingness to grow and learn. Being able to effectively communicate to understand and complete objectives on time is a terrific learning experience that has allowed me to effectively time-manage and prioritize tasks.
