As a Manager, I build schedules for student workers that work at Hillcrest. I strategically place them on certain days that work with their time so that our shifts can be filled out correctly. If we do not have enough workers for one shift, I figure out ways for us to still operate well on those understaffed shifts. I am in commication with HR and our upper management, as I am also in charge of hiring students, making sure they have their uniform, their schedule is to their liking, and what the policies and standards are at the Hillcrest Market Place.

I am a Lead around the Hillcrest Marketplace Dining Hall. I instruct people on how to do certain tasks. I run certain stations that serve food or drinks to customers, directing my associates to help run the stations with me. I work together with the cooks and other leads to make sure that food is getting put out at a good pace with good standards. I further learned how to work with other people of other backgrounds and get great results from contributing together. It has been an amazing experience teaching new people stations and watching them grow and get more comfortable in those stations.

As a Facilities Intern, I had the opportunity to run the mailroom for the office by myself. This resulted in me making excel sheets to help better organize the mailroom, while also making it easier for the employees to find and pick up their packages. I also had the opportunity to plan events for the company, as the team that I was on planned the bonus day party that the company has.
