Key accomplishments:* Built speeder enemy encounter system* Took over dev lead responsibilities midway through, organizing 3 more senior engineers* Performance optimizations and bug fixes* Dramatically increased iteration time for the team by designing and implementing a checkpoint system (30+ second delay on death reduced to nearly instant)Kinect Fun Labs -- showcased interesting technical applications of Kinect sensor for novel gameplay. Resulted in multiple patents. Key accomplishments:* Improved accuracy of finger tracking by training raw output using machine learning model (SVM) and adding temporal filtering * SIMD optimized finger tracking logic * Presented overview of system at GameFest 2011 keynote

Over a summer, I developed a blob tracking system enabling up to four users to play an early version of River Rush in Kinect Adventures. The Kinect skeletal tracking supported only two players at the time and this work allowed a larger group to participate in gameplay at lower fidelity - tracking their position, ducks, and jumps. This work formed the basis of the patent "Tracking Groups of Users in Motion Capture System".
