Responsible for ensuring new build vessels are designed in line with the strategic aims of CUK and delivered in an operationally ready state across all hotel operationsAccountable for ensuring all areas of the hotel operational design meet or exceed guidelines of United States Public Health, Americans with Disabilities Act and internal HESS regulations with a primary focus on guest & crew safety and operational effectiveness of each hotel areaCoordination of hotel design for new build architectural drawing phases and review of contractual owner’s drawings, (i.e. public areas, cabins, offices, lockers, stores, provision areas, catering & laundry)Accountable for multiple catering design & build budgets in excess of €11 million for each projectResponsible for leadership & coordination of all catering new build design activities, through close collaboration & communication with internal colleagues & stakeholders, catering design & engineering firms and ship yard engineers

Located at the centre of CUK’s Guest Services & Product Management group, the roles primary objective was to provide accountability for the defining of, specifying and delivery of the strategy for Hotel products and services in line with brand vision, operational requirement and budgetary allocation.Provided strategic leadership and direction to the teams responsible for financial, housekeeping and administration policy and procedure development for on board delivery. To ensure this is delivered to brand standardsAccountable for the £22 million on board Hotel Stores budget across 11 vessels

Accountable for the effective strategic leadership of the ship board Heads of Department for Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Customer Services, On Board Revenue, Entertainment and all associated support services, with revenue responsibility up to £10 million per annumLeading the co-ordination of audits and compliance, to the high standards demanded internally as well as by regulating bodies, in addition to creating and promoting an proactive culture of customer and crew safety of the highest order. All centred around the customer as a key focus of responsibility and ensuring that customer service excellence is maintained at all times.
