PERSON ABOUTDavid was born on Valentine’s Day 1968, in Fairfield, NSW. Grew up, or at least grew older, in Taree. Educated without much effort on his part, culminating with a Bachelor of Computer Science from Newcastle University. He worked as a drone in various Banking and Insurance systems for too many years. Then escaping the mundane, he went to work in the Australian Defence industry, and then in the Immigration and Security world of the Middle East. During this time, he met various people, got married to one of them, had two beautiful children, became divorced, and then had some failed relationships. Making sure that everything was done in the “correct” order.Following his last relationship, too much stress from his last job, and general unhappiness, he found himself inside a “facility”. One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is a fairly accurate documentary of these places. It was there that he took to writing all about himself. Dredging up previous attempts at poetry, documenting his downfall, making many errors along the way to “recovery”, he found that writing was to become another avenue for failure... Thus, was born the Nobody described in his first book.But he didn’t give up…Then, for his second book, he turned his imagination outward at all of the Numpties of the world. Combining the best aspects of Mother Goose, Doctor Seuss and The Brothers Grimm…in the concrete mixer of his mind. Applying a modicum of numptyism, he produced some many anti-nursery rhymes, anti-songs, anti-lullabies and just lots of anti in general.But still he didn’t give up…Most recently he continued writing the 2nd instalment of his biography, continuing his 1st book, in his 3rd book… Confused? You betcha he is! Standing around the metaphorical water cooler he received enough motivation to make it available to the public.
