Project to address a number of issues in Warehousing & Logistics across multiple sites (FMCG) that were impacting cost and customer service, providing strong leadership and process improvements to the team. Initially required to bring the distribution function under control, significant service, invoicing and inventory issues. Then to stabilize the business processes and bring in repeatable processes, management control checks and a gap plan for ongoing improvements. Was then required to address inwards goods operations, providing direct management oversight, and working closely with production to improve production consumption and batch allocation processes. Loved the role, but could not take a full time position due to the travel required.

Key reasonability areas were warehousing & distribution, freight, 3PL service providers, sales & operations planning, strategic and operational procurement, material stores, fleet and MHE, Customer Services & service performance, safety, COR, inventory management, financials, capital expenditure and IT systems development for the Supply Chain.
