As a project manager for the commonwealth we follow all the major standards and practices required to manage projects. Every project I run goes through the Project Manager Life Cycle (PMLC), and in accordance with this all IT projects go through SDLC process as well. See below:-Create project plans for every project no matter the size (Microsoft project)-Prepare agenda's and minutes for every project-Manage multiple projects simultaneously (On average 8 -10 projects)-Kick Off meeting's and Lessons Learned for all projects-Use of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies depending on the project size/scope/product-Facilitate weekly project meetings and daily standups when needed-SharePoint, update every project on the PMO site daily-PowerPoint, usage on all projects when needed-Risk mitigation and change management on all projects
