Based within the WMSC outside Birmingham, providing professional and expertise rail replacement options to West Midlands Railway, East Midlands Railway and occasionally Caledonian Sleeper. This includes the day-to-day management of both pre-planned and emergency rail replacement activities. Having worked extensively within the bus industry in two different parts of the country, this allows me to bring a knowledge and understanding to the role. This allows rail replacement to be delivered in a time effective manner which meets the expectations of customers and stakeholders. This role focuses heavily on team work and working with external suppliers whilst continually building new working relationships whilst continually adapting to change management.

Based within the Tividale Traffic Office, working with a group of inspectors to ensure Service Delivery is met and maintained on a daily basis. The primary task of this role being the forward-planning and management of driver roster allocation through the use of DAS. This includes managing ad-hoc changes, last minute sickness and adjusting to minute-by-minute changes. In addition, the management of driver rosters and allocation whilst keeping within the company's budgetary allowance on a week-by-week basis. This involved the collaboration of payroll files on a weekly basis, and managing queries associated with this as required. Additional tasks associated with the role could include operational support to other depots, providing cover as a PCV driver, completing investigatory work associated to complaints and operational/managerial support to other departments as required.

Beginning as a Trainee PCV Driver, successfully passing the required examinations to become a qualified PCV Driver. Working on both the "City Rota" and "Express Rota", and learning new skills along the way. Understanding the basic fundamentals of a PCV Driver, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service and always going that bit further to ensure the customer is completely satisfied. Flexibility and hard work within a team of people, allowed me to have a proven track record in getting the job done.
