Dr. David Harris is the inventor of ophthalmic filters Harris Filters that relieve visual stress and difficulty when reading. Later developments include assistance for the visually impaired, initially at the Liverpool Voluntary Society for the Blind (LVSB) and research continues. In addition to writing many papers and lecturing all over the world, Dr. Harris founded the Harris Foundation in 2001, which is a non profit organisation, dedicated to assisting dyslexics and others that might be assisted with individually prescribed ophthalmic filters ("Harris Lenses"). Research is taking place into the various other areas that might be assisted.............
