Recruited to build health insurance agency to support Progressive Employer Services, Inc., a professional employer organization with approximately 1500 clients and 18,000 worksite employees.Hired, trained and supervised the licensed insurance sales staff and the administrative staff of the agency.Agency sales team marketed health insurance, dental plans, life insurance, vision care, long term disability and short term disability to clients of Progressive on a client sponsored plan basis. Negotiated large group health, life insurance, disability, dental, and vision plans for Progressive Employer Services internal employees. Most plans were available for the worksite employees of Progressive. Maintained the financial records for the agency and prepared monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.Agency revenue grew by 700% under my management.

Recruited to develop and promote the Gift Annuity Program for the Diocese of Venice. Approximately $1,200,000 in gift annuities recorded during first three years of the program.Maintained gift annuity records and calculated annuity payments for periodic distributions.Conducted educational seminars at parishes and schools throughout the Diocese to provide information to prospective donors about various tools available to accomplish their philanthropic goals.Worked with attorneys and financial advisors to assist donors with charitable gifts.During Annual Bishop’s Appeal, assisted development department staff with the solicitation and recording of annual gifts and pledges made on behalf of parishes and other entities in the diocese.
