A seasoned Engineering Technician/Senior Instrument Maker with more than 35 years of experience in scientific research and manufacturing industry, with primarily focus on fabrication, assembly and repair of precise and complicated instruments for complex scientific research, engineering...or teaching projects. My background has given me the hands-on experience in lay out and planning fabrication processes, implementing designs, testing instruments, mechanical repair, and executing deliverables. I have engineered and produced a redesign of GONG camera case and TE cooler interface ^ CCD chip rendering cameras to a renewed serviceable life span. I have previously served in key leadership roles providing full service mechanical build/service/repair for scientific research instrumentation to variable sized teams while with the NSO-NISP Program and sister groups.
