I am a pro-active change management professional with deep and broad experience of project management and interim line management roles through my 25 years of management consultancy in the financial services industry – 10 years at PwC (leaving as a Director in 2003) and subsequently as an independent consultant.I have a track record of gaining/maintaining momentum and making change happen on troubled and/or complex projects and programmes and driving through to delivery of identified business benefits from within business operations, Transformation and IT functions of usually large, often global, businesses.A good planner and organiser, I am able to quickly establish clarity on the key issues and priorities, set the necessary governance and prepare realistic and appropriately holistic plans to move forward. This is enabled by a breadth of experience over many assignments providing a comprehensive understanding of business and support functions’ processes, enabling IT architectures and key dependencies with external markets, systems and industry regulations.The business context for assignments include, new business launches, outsourcing, merger / acquisitions (due diligence and business integration), business transformations and client transitions, large scale IT implementations, IT strategy, IT service delivery, business process remediation, business re-organisation, regulatory compliance and quality assurance.I have strong inter-personal and communication skills to enable effective senior stakeholder engagement, management of ambiguity, staff communications, event facilitation and project team management / motivation, but I am equally not shy of the “hard word”, appropriately confronting impediments and taking tough decisions.
