Currently doing some consultant works for local investors here in Kota Kinabalu. My last post was as Chief Operation Officer at AJ Ashley SDN BHD, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Malaysia. Under the company we carried 3 franchise brands such as; Secret Recipe (15 outlets - whole of Sabah & Labuan), Souled Out & Madam Kwan's. I'm working closely with owner on the whole operations for the 3 brands concerns. On the same time, planning for new opening for Madam Kwan's and Secret Recipe in addition to the current number. These are my 27 years in the F&B industry & were serving the hotel/tourism industry in most of the international chain such as; Hyatt, Dorsett International, Renaissance & Hilton. I'm also serving my years in the local brand hotel such as Sutera Harbour & Nexus Karambunai Resort. I was hired Hilton Kota Kinabalu as consultant/Manager for their theme bar, namely Club Bar. In here I was directly involved on hiring team members, menu engineering, creating signature cocktails for the bar as well as establish beverage cost in comparable to the market served. Prior to the year, I was attached with Renaissance Hotel Johor Baharu as DoFB and holding the same position at Dorsett Grand International Subang Jaya. I was the ADoFB for Hyatt Regency Kinabalu serving 7 (seven) years before becoming the Associate Director of Events. In 1999 to 2004, I was serving as the Operation Banquet Manager for Sutera Harbour and moved to Nexus Karambunai Resort in 2004 for new challenges. Looking forwards for the new challenges in future.
