David is a Barrister & Solicitor with a broad litigation practice that includes Civil litigation, Corporate-Commercial litigation, Disciplinary Proceedings and Insurance Defence with a particular focus on representing real estate agents and brokerages.● Defending professionals (realtors and real estate brokerages) on behalf of their insurers.● Preparing pleadings, affidavits of documents, mediation and pre-trial briefs, motion records,factums, etc.● Preparing for and conducting settlement conferences, mediations and examinations for discovery● Retaining experts including appraisers, loss quantifiers, engineers, contractors, surveyors,standard of care experts, handwriting experts, etc.● Preparing for and attending hearings at all levels of Court and Tribunals including but not limitedto: motions, pretrial conferences, arbitrations, trials, and appeals.● Researching case law and statutes.● Assessing liability risk for clients.

● Identifying and interviewing potential candidates for employment opportunities in the legal sector.● Began assisting lawyers in the litigation department of Mitchell, Bardyn & Zalucky LLP part-timestarting Feb 2013.

● Managed a general Civil Practice involving employment law and general civil in Dublin and in theDistrict, Circuit and High Court jurisdictions throughout the Republic of Ireland.● Civil Practice included research, drafting proceedings and other legal documentation (includinglegal submissions, contracts and other agreements), negotiation, advising and advocating onbehalf of clients in court and before other legal fora, filing motions seeking discovery, andsubsequent document review.

While engaged in my full-time study and then law practice, also worked part-time as a Bookseller for Waterstone’s Booksellers in their stores in Dublin and their Hodges Figgis store, in Dublin City Centre. This also provided the bonus of staying involved with my personal love of books.
