Study of dynamic crack propagation in single crystal silicon under combined tensile andshear loading. Research combined fracture experiments, Finite Element Ana lysis, andsurface microscopy. Additional research included the study of adhesion of TiO 2 thin filmson glassy substrates for photovoltaic applications. Work was performed in coordinationwith Schott AG as part of the ADGLASS consortium. Operated and maintained wafer dicingfacilities.
