While working for PDC, I started as a department of one. My objective was to leverage innovative technology and business intelligence to develop the foundational technology infrastructure which would enable and support continual operational growth. PDC is a privately held global service company for Fortune 500 customers, providing Distribution Services, Operational Logistics Support and Distribution Technologies in four countries. Over my tenure I had the opportunity to grow my department to over 80 individuals that were responsible for supporting 50,000+ full/part-time associates and distributors with a yearly buget of over $6M. During this time, PDC more than doubled its domestic market share, expanded into two additional countries, and generated more than a 5 fold increase in bottom-line earnings. In addition, my team was responsible for creating stand-alone, revenue generating, software product lines and services. I am most proud that my team earned the prestigious Gold Award for Outstanding Achievement in Yellow Page Process Innovation by the Yellow Pages Association, the first and only time this award has been given to a distribution vendor.

As CEO at the Center for Leadership Studies, I was tasked with helping the organization through some very difficult fiscal and cultural challenges created by a rapidly changing industry environment. My team and I executed a complete transformation in under 3 years. Using predictive analytics to identify operational, product line, marketing and cultural opportunities, I worked with my executive team, customers, strategic partners, domestic and foreign affiliates as well as the company’s Board to develop a vision and strategy to revitalize CLS as a premier provider of leadership training programs with a world class reputation of excellence. During this transformation new CRM software and processes, accounting system software and processes, web technology, and marketing materials and processes were all developed, designed and implemented. All these changes where accomplished while reducing operational debit, creating a strong positive cash flow and in 2010 EBIT was increased by 65%, revenue increased by 29% and customer retention increased by 160%.
