• Prepare both publicly-held and private companies for audits and reviews while providing guidance on GAAP compliance. • Assist small to mid-cap publicly-held clients with financial reporting including 10-Q and 10-K preparation.• Perform additional CFO-type functions including loan negotiation, due diligence on acquisitions, reviewing contracts and agreements, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws regarding accounting issues.• Remain up to date with recent accounting pronouncements, especially those pertaining to SEC reporting, the PCAOB, and the Sarbanes Oxley Act.
