• Perform audits and quarterly reviews of publicly-held companies in order for them to file 10-K’s and 10-Q’s with the SEC.• Manage several clients and supervise staff on each job while making sure all clients timely file their reports with the SEC.• Research accounting issues in order to determine whether client’s accounting for various transactions is proper.• Review financial statements to insure compliance with GAAP and review md&a to insure compliance with SEC reporting requirements and compatibility with financial statements.• Proficient with all aspects of financial statement preparation including cash flow statement preparation, consolidations, accounting for stock-based compensation and other equity issues• Experienced in mergers and acquisitions and replying to SEC comment letters.• Perform multiple year audits for companies seeking to file a registration statement to become a reporting company.
