I have been a licensed and practicing paramedic in the state of Michigan for over 5 years. While working in EMS I have practiced in diverse locations ranging from rural to high population urban service areas. As a paramedic I have obtained certifications in ACLS, PHTLS, PALS, NIMS, and DEMCA. Additionally, I am a Field Training Instructor, tasked with training and evaluating new paramedics and associates. For the past 2 years while working full-time as a paramedic I have been attending online classes through the University of Michigan Flint, majoring in Healthcare Administration. My degree will be completed in August of 2020 with a GPA of 3.82. While attending classes I was also a member of the Honors Society and a member of Upsilon Delta Phi (a healthcare administration honors fraternity). After spending years working as a front line healthcare provider I am seeking a position where I can apply my field experience in an administrative role.
