As a co-founder and COO, Dave oversees IT/operations, enterprise risk management, daily operational controls, and policy and procedures that ensure the health and wealth of the company and that also promote the overall culture and vision of the company. As the COO, Dave also works closely with the CEO and other leadership in the areas of corporate strategy, HR/Finance, client support, product vision and roadmap, and sales and marketing. Prior to co-founding DataOceans, Dave co-founded ThreeRiversGroup, a Venture Sales Agency, and ECWerks and early eCommerce consultancy in the late 90’s, which was acquired by IMRglobal (now CGI NYSE: GIB) where he served as VP of eBusiness and the primary interface for the Wall Street investment and analyst community. Prior to ECWerks, Dave was a principal at Technology Investments, which was acquired by Internet Capital Group (NYSE: ICGE). Prior to Technology Investments, Dave spent 10 years consulting to the US Military and DoD via a reactivated USMC TS Clearance, working on various black projects, some of which were, AGM-129 ACM, E-8 Joint STARS, Tomahawk Cruise Missile, C-17 Globalmaster, YF-22, and YF-117. Dave also served in a variety of sales and technical roles at IBM and other technology companies. Dave was recruited by IBM at the end of his tenure in the United States Marine Corps.
