Main responsibilities include:Facilitating bill of materials specification and pricing updates to accurately quantify commodity exposure and P&L impact. Verifying quarterly commodity and spend forecast variances by working in tandem with planners, commodity managers, and sourcing managers to gauge the impact several shifting inputs. The inputs include volume changes, commodity forward coverage, bill of material changes, and commodity market strip information.Automate and customize detailed spend analysis reporting to provide leverage for sourcing managers. Granular reporting at the Supplier, Category, Item, and Component level provides proper cost bench-marking and working toward a true should cost model for each SKU.Verify COGS change impacts to the P&L for direct sourcing with an emphasis in the packaging space for both new and existing SKUs on a global scale. Participate in cross functional business case analysis including elements of transportation, working capital inventory, manufacturing in-sourcing, and co-manufacturing scenarios.

I provide financial analysis support for the ingredients sourcing teams and the global supply chain as a whole. Main responsibilities include:Validate and report changes in product COGs through the Enterprise Savings pipeline of projects from brainstorming through completion taking into account depreciation, equity adjustments, and carryover savings assumptions. Assist the ingredients sourcing team with financial analysis in COGS classification, administrative spend analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, and product cost modeling to provide negotiation leverage. Work with the Commodity Risk Management team to improve and execute commodity forecasting processes to help mitigate risk.
