Managing licensing, permitting and environmental programs, technical and field services including the Environmental Management Information System (EMIS) and Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), Remediation, Air permitting program, Air monitoring and testing program, Water Permitting Program, Regulatory Reporting, Land Use Permitting and Waste program to support the Fossil Fleet. The (greenfield) project included EPC scopes for a 755MW 2X1 Combined Cycle station, an eight-mile gas pipeline, along with a separate 2mile installation of off-site water/sewer pipelines, creation of a 13 acre Forested Wetlands mitigation site, creation of a 3 acre Wetlands Mitigation site, and closure of several former mining site environmental features. Bridgeport Harbor Generating Station Unit 5 – Bridgeport, ConnecticutPermitting / Regulatory lead for the overall project - including project development, construction, startup & commissioning, and turnover to operations. The (Brownfield) project consisted of remediating a 20-million-gallon oil tank farm and installation of a 485MW 1X1 Combined Cycle station. Sewaren Generating Station Unit 7 – Sewaren, NJPermitting / Regulatory oversight for the overall project - including project development, construction, startup & commissioning, and turnover to operations. The (Brownfield) project consisted of remediation of former site activities and installation of a 540MW 1X1 Combined Cycle station. Key activities included:Directed all permitting, environmental and regulatory aspects of the projects. Obtaining over 500 permits and approvals.Primary regulatory agency interface with New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Maryland Department of Environment (MDE), Connecticut Department of Environment and Energy (CTDEEP), Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Connecticut Siting Council (CSC), including County and local agency. Developed and implemented an operational turn over plan for all environmental aspects of plant operations. -
