Joined the Met Police in 1990. I have worked at a variety of busy police stations, where I gained some unique skills and experience in dealing with serious crime, receiving a number of commendations. As one of the first Detectives recruited into traffic I have been involved in the investigation of serious & fatal collisions, where I received a high commendation for Professional services to justice at the Livia awards held at the Houses of Parliament.I have also been involved in preventing and investigating insurance fraud (Operation catcher)I lead the Op Catcher team to secure "Service provider of the year" at the British Insurance Awards 2013, Fraud team of the year (independent) at the 2013 National Fraud Awards, and in 2016 the Collaboration award.I have also received the following:National Roads Policing award winner 2013 for outstanding contribution to roads policing.
