I manage a portfolio totaling $850 million in investment-grade, taxable fixed-income securities, consisting of Cash Equivalents, US Government, Corporate, and Taxable Municipal securities. My duties include sector allocation decisions, issuer analysis and trading of the portfolio, employing a top down selection strategy. During 2014 with the absence of a Chief Investment Officer, I also temporarily took on the responsibilities of that position. That consisted of interacting with our investment consultants and our outside advisors, analyzing potential investments outside of the internal portfolio, negotiating new contracts with two of our vendors and preparing a 2015 department budget. Additionally, my responsibilities include management of two Trustee accounts and oversight of the securities lending program.

All members act as a liaison between the insurance industry and the Capital Markets and Investment Analysis Office of the NAIC.

In conjunction with counsel, maintained oversight of investment advisers and funds custodial management to ensure compliance.
