Using internal and external information from various sources to formulate strategies that help to reduce the risks associated with the exportation of recyclable material from the UK & Ireland.Using logistical information to produce planning schedules for our team of inspectors covering the UK and Ireland.Formulating action plans for any suppliers that fall below the required export standards and working together with them to raise the quality of material that they produce.Liaising with industry regulators such as the EA/CCIC to ensure we operate within their expectations.Performing in-depth inspections of sites around the UK and Ireland. This can involve performing extensive analysis of the different commodities that we export; these include various fibre grades & different plastic grades. This information is then reported back internally in various forms of communication.I also act as the health and safety representative for the organisation due to my previous training and job roles. This mostly involves creating health and safety training files for new starters, updating legislation and generally making sure all employees work within a safe environment.

I originally trained as an electrician with a local electrical company and after passing my GNVQs/apprenticeship I continued my education further by doing a part time HNC in site management.To further my career I joined a company based in Manchester whilst also training as a site manager. I heled run various projects in the north west from new builds to refurbishments ranging up to £1, 000 000. Whilst working full time I also studied for my degree (again part time.) I began working for a major sub contractor of Network Rail but grew frustrated with the lack of opportunities. I was offered several short term contracts within the construction sector but I wanted to change in to an industry that offered more stability and long term security/development.
