Carry out MOT inspections to DVSA standards, Quality control checks on fellow inspectors, produce and act upon test quality information, assist colleagues with CPD and training where necessary, assist with and carry out overflow work including: diagnostics, servicing and repairs to ensure colleagues see 'we are all in this together' .

Advising small local businesses in targeting profit from existing business lists, building long term business relationships and improving Customer service using traditional and web based methods. Recent success has included helping a local business relocate their operation to rural France whilst being able to maintain their UK customer base. I deliver talks and presentations to young people, with the aim of inspiring them to consider careers in Business Development,IT and Engineering more specifically within the Automotive industry.

Leading the Governing body to challenge and support improvement. Responsibilities are strategic with particular focus on: Ensuring the School has a long term vision and plan and senior leaders are held to account for the delivery of that vision and plan. Ensuring finances are spent well and provide the resources needed to deliver against the overall plan. Holding the Head teacher and Senior leaders to account for the overall achievement of the school and it's pupils. The role not only draws upon many years of leadership experience, it has become a platform for self development.

Supervising public examinations of up to 150 students, ensuring standards and regulations are met, assisting eligible candidates with reading and scribing, ensuring the integrity of exam papers between opening and delivery to exam boards. Completing records and following procedures to ensure security of documents during delivery.

As a Board Member, ensuring the Trusts work and objectives reflect the core values, facilitate sharing best practice, collaboration and mutual support agreed by founding member schools and subscribing partners, holding the executive board accountable for delivering the plans and vision of the Trust and supporting them to provide an outstanding educational experience for young people between 11 and 19 years old.
