Following a number of years working within the retail and hospitality sector, I achieved my PGCE and QTS qualification in December 2022. Building on my experience working through my career, I was able to build on my skills and teaching style to gain the confidence and abilities to successfully accomplish my teaching qualifications. I am now looking to gain more experience within KS2, either supply for the short term, looking to establish myself with a lengthier position in a Primary School.  During my training year, I was placed in a number of classrooms within both upper and lower KS2, and I relished the challenge of building effective relationships with children, parents and staff in the short time I was placed in each setting. This was one of the main positive areas of feedback during my placements, and something I am incredibly proud of. I particularly enjoy teaching Mathematics, Science, Computing and Geography, and envision myself working towards developing my skills to be a possible subject lead in these areas in the future. I am also looking forward to having my own class to support, educate and build into upstanding members of society.
