Hi and thanks for visiting my profile!My name is Davy and I am an Accounting Technician, Video Producer and Audio Technician.I completed my final year ATI exams with an overall distinction in July 2020. I then progressed to the CAP1 exams for the year 2020/2021 which I completed successfully. I currently have over 5 years full time work experience in Accountancy. I started my career as a Stock Controller for one of the most prestigious Irish auto factors companies in Ireland 'Top Part Motor Factors' and have gained 6 years experience in this role. In my time there, I gained extensive knowledge about the motor trade, stock control, VAT, purchase orders, mark-up, margins, costing and optimising stock levels.In 2018, I decided to further my education in accountancy and began my training in O'Neill Foley Chartered Accountants in Kilkenny. I completed my final Accounting Technician exams in June 2020. I then progressed to the CAP1 examinations which I completed in 2021 and have just completed the CAP2 examinations in June 2022. In my role at O'Neill Foley, I have taken a lead role in coordinating VAT, gained extensive experience in producing year end accounts, management accounts, income tax and corporation tax returns, whilst also gaining knowledge in multiple accounting softwares. Outside the office I specialise in Video & Audio Production. In my spare time, with my passion for video production, editing and cinematic's, I work on my YouTube channel where I film guitar lessons and other guitar & music based content. I have shot and edited numerous music videos, cinematic's, advertisements and 'Behind The Scenes Vlogs' for a variety of Irish Artists, all around the country.I also work as a session guitarist and have worked with a variety of different Irish Artists.
