Created the Snagajob Engineering Operations tribe to focus on platform, operations, and quality. Combining the Engineering teams responsible for DevOps, Security, Platform, Data Operations, Quality, TechOps, and Internal Business Systems, the Engineering Operations group positioned itself as a singular platform and internal facing product team to drive improvements in organizational efficiency, reduction of risk, and cost optimizations.

Oversight of multiple engineering initiatives consisting of new product development, legacy system support, web/microservice strategy, mobile development strategy and shared systems teams. Responsible for DevOps, SRE and TechOps. Vendor negotiation and management. Responsible for Snagajob's eCommerce and Employer focused software solutions. Experience in both B2B and B2C SaaS offerings.

Oversaw the engineering efforts at Snagajob and coordinated multiple teams and projects. I controlled budget and recruiting for our Mobile Development teams. I worked with product owners and other company stakeholders to define initiatives. I managed multiple direct reports and their staff.

I directed the development efforts for the company’s mobile applications (iOS and Android).I consolidated two distinct mobile development teams into a single mobile development practice and led the team in architectural design and development efforts. Additionally, I contributed as an Android developer when possible.I participated as member of the company’s leadership team helping to set direction and priority.

As a developer, worked on a wide variety of projects using technologies such as ASP.NET (C#), PHP, SQL and MongoDB. I functioned as an architect, coordinated projects to build new features, consolidated architectures to scale systems and wrote a lot of code. As a manager, I helped guide teams and individuals through the rapid growth of the company. I fostered and drove the adoption of a more Agile based development process. I acted as the Development Lead on multiple high profile initiatives, including a major relaunch and expansion of our E-commerce platform. I worked closely with Product and UX to innovate and design new products. I managed developer workload, prioritization, and facilitated cross-department communication.
