David is the SVP & Global Head of Employee Experience for RBC, leading the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Performance, Employee Brand, Employee Journeys, Employee Listening, HR Analytics - Data & Insights, OE/OD/Change Management COE's and HR Strategy portfolios.Prior to his current role, he was SVP and Head of Global Recruitment for RBC. David's last role with Manulife saw him managing the Global TA function for Manulife. He was also CHRO for Manulife's Global Group Functions, directing both the talent agendas and overall HR strategies for all of Manulife's Group Function Executive Leadership Team across North America and Asia.He was also previously responsible for leading senior level HR strategy for Manulife's US Wealth Management Business. Prior to his role at John Hancock/Manulife, David was the Head of Recruitment at Aviva Insurance, managing Aviva's recruitment strategy and execution for all of North America.At Knightsbridge Executive Search, David successfully completed multiple mid-and-senior-level searches in a wide array of financial services, technology, real estate, professional services, manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, consumer goods and pharmaceutical. Prior to joining Knightsbridge, David was an Assistant Vice President of Human Resources with Manulife where he provided consulting and strategic Human Resource planning to senior level management globally as both an HR Business Partner for Corporate Finance and in Global Talent Management. Prior to joining Manulife Financial, David was a senior search consultant with Korn/Ferry.
