David Hood is a well-regarded finance executive who was appointed to the role of DTI Group (ASX:DTI) Chief Financial Officer in April 2021. Prior to joining DTI Group, David held a number of senior management positions for groups located in both Australia and Asia. These included key finance-related roles with Australian Materials sector major Orica Ltd and the Volvo Group. He has additionally performed contract work for multiple groups, including Sensis Shared Services (Melbourne), Airport Development Group (Darwin) and First 5 Minutes Pty Ltd (Brisbane).David is today an integral member of the DTI Group executive team. As well as being tasked with leading the Company’s finance and accounting functions, he also plays an important role in the creation and implementation of DTI Group’s growth strategy. His well-honed management skills, analytical acumen and strong track record for delivering business performance improvements are valuable tools now being drawn upon by DTI Group as it grows its product offering and revenue base.David has a Master of Business Administration from the Queensland University of Technology and a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in accounting & finance and information management science) from Griffith University. He is also a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
