I am grateful for the opportunities serving in the Air Force has brought me and my family. The people we met, the things we did, the places we visited and the opportunities those places provided, all gave us a breadth of experience that influences our everyday life and will forever be a part of who we are and what we will become. As I transition from the military, I realize I served in many roles, from basic B-52 navigator to instructor, advisor, leader, and commander at multiple levels of organizations and each had its role in making me the person I am today. I enjoyed my time working with many partner nations as an advisor and mentor aiding them in building their militaries to create a more secure future for their home countries. Although most people find the Pentagon an intimidating and laborious work environment, I enjoyed both of my assignments there immensely, both early on while in Checkmate and learning about building strategy and war plans and then later learning about how Congress and the White House interact with the Department of Defense and partner nations during my time in International Affairs. All these experiences helped me develop and nurture key skills that I believe transfer well into the civilian corporate environment and I look forward to an opportunity to share those skills with future employers and teams. If you are interested in hearing more about how I can help you and your company, please connect with me here on Linkedin.
