In California alone, nearly 6 million tons of food are thrown away every year at the expense of the environment. Meanwhile, 1 in 4 California residents is food insecure. I seek to help hungry families and our planet equally through improving food recovery systems.My other passion revolves around outdoor wilderness adventures. As a backcountry wilderness guide, I facilitate meaningful experiences for those seeking to connect with nature, while off the grid. Yosemite is my playground, and you’ll find me leading groups toward transformation there most weekends.
