Provide technical support to Newline ASP customers in relation to all aspects of services provided by Newline ASP. Travel to client sites to setup and install all infrastructure including full network installs including cabling, network points, patch panels etc. Server installations including domain migration and data transfer, software and hardware (pc’s, printers, laptops, thin clients, routers/switches etc.) installation testing and training with clients. Provide and maintain both local and remote backup solutions for clients. Installation and maintenance of WAP’s, installation of network IP camera’s and provision of storage devices.

Travel across geographically dispersed locations throughout NI to transform sites onto a new service solution, in line with the project plans and schedules, understand the site requirements, captured during the consultation surveys and manage the local transformation of the site network onto the new Cloud solution, Implementation of SAN, Managing the Decommissioning of Existing Servers and ensuring outages are agreed with the site and services are restored in a timely fashion. Installation of new server including Virtual Server builds, Re-organization of Racks and Comms Cabinets to allow for the installation of new switches, Following the Backup and Data Migration process, and Configuration of Cisco Switch network across VLAN solution, Installation and setup of Meru Wireless Access Points (WAPs). Managing desktop engineers, re-imaging Desktop/Laptop devices, migrating existing printers onto new print solution, Ensuring the Asset management process is adhered to, Identification and integration of 3rd party services, Strategic testing of end to end accessibility, Demonstration and handover of new solution to site representative. Identification and Reporting of Issues and Risks to the Technical Manager, Engage with the Service Implementation/Catalogue team post LAN transformation, to ensure non-managed devices are scheduled during the site cut-over, Provide Handover to the Technical Manager/Analyst Consultant to ensure all expectations are met and agreed for sign off, Regular updates to the Project Manager on Progress and Issues.

Responsibility for IT systems across seven sites in N.I. ROI and mainland UK including hardware, software, networking and telecommunications.
