As part of the Group Customer Master (GCM) Program, a strategic initiative established to deliver a central source of customer data across the Westpac Group, I managed the development of customer solutions required by other large-scale strategic initiatives.

Consolidated outward Australian and foreign currency payment capabilities onto a single payments platform, replacing interfaces to a number of front-end applications and adapting processes used by impacted teams.

Managed the Operational Risk & Compliance activities of the bank’s Property department. This included:- raising the Property team’s risk management capabilities and practices as part of the bank’s Basel II certification- working with internal & external partners / suppliers to manage the compliance of, & risks associated with, the bank’s property portfolio.

Coordinated activities with nominated business areas and external suppliers as part of a major property relocation initiative affecting 7,500 employees and 10 sites, designed to introduce flexible, collaborative ways of working within the organisation.

Managed a range of process transformation and system development projects across the bank’s Finance departments, including delivery of operational reporting capabilities to support a new credit processing application, and the introduction of a Management Fee Rebate application.During my time in this role I also collaborated with the bank’s external supplier of Business Intelligence tools to deliver a major upgrade of the bank’s online reporting toolset and other pilot projects.
