Chief Financial Officer
CurrentReporting into the CEO and as a key member of the executive leadership team, carries overall responsibility for the financial management of the GeelongPortbusiness, providing business-critical information and decision-making support to the CEO and the Board, whilst managing a high-performing and well-respected Finance and Technology team.Key Responsibilities include: ▪ Overall leadership of the finance and technology teams, ensuring robust financial controls and systems are in place to safeguard company assets and ensurecompliance with regulations and industry standards.▪ Managing financial planning functions, including annual budgets, 5-year plans and the 20-year financial model and any reforecasting, working with internal terms to qualify key inputs to drive financial results.▪ Overseeing the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll (including superannuation and Workcover), cashflowmanagement including revenue collection and expense management, and financialreporting.▪ Ensure compliance to accounting standards, managing the annual external audit function and the general purpose financial statement process.▪ Overseeing tax (including BAS, company, payroll and withholding tax) and treasury functions, ensuring compliance with shareholder and banking requirements.▪ Providing strategic contributions to maintenance and growth capital planning and implementation processes, offering high-quality financial management advice, and identifying current and future funding needs.▪ Ensuring cost discipline and value-for-money outcomes are maintained throughongoing operations and procurement activities.▪ Management of the annual insurance renewal program.▪ Providing the Board with regular and comprehensive financial and businessperformance reporting and presenting these findings on a regular and ongoing basis.
