The business included 28 stores and 260 employees. the business went from a steady decline when I joined to growth of 60% in sales over the 2 year period I was with the business.I reported to the owner David Wright, who was a fantastic business leader with an amazing eye for fashion trends and incredible people skills.

I worked my way up to Branch Manager (of 100 employees and $12m in sales) by age 22 and went onto Head Office by Age 23 as a Category Manger looking after $80m in annual sales and about 3,000 product lines. Today Progressive is owned by Woolworths Australia.
