I've always been interested in construction, the idea of something not existing then getting to be apart of building something new that could last 50+ years. Working with Richelieu Building Specialties now Inter-Co Division 10 a project that sticks with me was the Stantec Tower Tenant Improvement Project with PCL construction. I had the opportunity to quote, and participate in the supply and installation of the operable walls within the project. Now whenever I drive past Stantec tower I know that I had a part to play in the construction of western Canada's tallest tower, and its going to be standing there for a long time. Thinking back on my short career I've already be able to contribute to the renovation of my elementary school, the construction of my high school's replacement and Nait's new Productivity and Innovation Centre (my college). Growing up and learning through these education institutes and then being able to improve them through renovation and new construction to help new students has been a very rewarding feeling. From tall towers to elementary schools to community centers, the work I’ve done has helped to build a better community for everyone. In my personal time I enjoy going for hikes, golfing and relaxing on a patio with a cold drink. Come winter when I'm not hiding from the cold you can find me out snowboarding.
