Responsible for synchronization of current operations within the Iraqi Joint Theater of Operations (IJOA). Oversee the Joint Operations Center (JOC), Joint Fires, Aviation Operations, Information Operations, Personnel Recovery Operations, J3 Forward and the USF-I lNO Teams to the Iraqi Prime Minister's National Operations Center, and Minister of Defense Operation Center, a diverse and complex organization consisting of over 200 military personnel and civilian contractors. Conduct planning coordination, and synchronization of operations and activities with USCENTCOM, subordinate commands Component Commands, Iraqi Security Forces, US Embassy-Baghdad, and other governmental and interagency partners.

For 14 months served as Commander of the 1st Brigade, US Army Cadet Command. Responsible for recruiting, developing, retaining and commissioning the future officer leaders, including nurses, for the Active, NG and USAR Army, producing ~ 700 LTs annually. Brigade consists of the 6 Senior Military Colleges and 5 Military Junior Colleges. Succesfully oversaw an annual operating budget of $4.1M, and managed logistical support for ROTC battalions through supporting installations. Also planned, coordinated and executed the annual Leader's Training Course at Fort Knox, KY with responsibility for the training of over 1,400 Cadets each summer. For my last 8 months in Cadet Command, I served as Chief of Staff, leading the transition from Fort Monroe to Fort Knox. I was responsible for development supervision and execution of the USACC staff in support of recruiting, retention, and training programs to ensure achievement of DA accession mission of 4500-5350 Lieutenants annually. Oversaw execution of an annual budget in excess of $800M. I was responsible for the formulation and execution of directives and plans in support of Accessions Command policies, guidance, and vision. Coordinated issues with external agencies, higher Headquarters, DA, ASA (MR&A), and OSD.

Commander of the 194th Armored Brigade, composed of 5 training battalions, 1 training support battalion, 1 reception battalion, and HHC composed of 1900 permanent party and civilian staff with an annual training load of 22,000. Responsible for providing the Army with Cavalry Scouts, Army and USMC armor crewmen, mechanics and basic training graduates. Execute 38 Programs of Instruction (POI) with an average daily initial entry training load of over 4000, managing resources including a budget of over $28 million, 210 combat, 250 tactical vehicles, 161 buildings, and 20 ranges and training sites. Incorporates the training of 1300 ROTC cadets, 1200 USMA cadets, and elements of 2 USAR divisions. Establish standards, enforce policies, and updates POIs based on warfighting requirements.
