 Coordinator for regional study of the Mesozoic clastics of South-Eastern Sirt area. This study focused on source rocks, petroleum systems and identifying new play concepts and evaluating under-explored play potential. Coordinator for regional study of the Western Sirt area. This study focused on identifying new play concepts and evaluating under-explored play potential.  Responsible for all exploration activities in Cyrenaica (northeast Libya).  Concession geologist responsible for exploration activities on concession 47, Kotla area of Sirt Basin Member of AGOCO scientific coordination/evaluation team responsible for regional geology and hydrocarbon potential project of NE Libya, which was completed in 2004. Accomplishments:- recommended and drilled three wells. One well resulted in the discovery of 20,000,000 bbls of oil recoverable,from a Paleocene shoal at 8000’. - Completed, with the area geophysicist, a joint report on the geology and prospectivity of the N.W. portion of the Cyrenaica area

Managed an exploration budget of $5 million annually. • Supervised a staff of seven geologists, two geophysicists and two technicians. • Responsible for exploration in Eastern Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, North Dakota and Manitoba. • Main areas of activity: Alberta - Provost; Dina sands - Hays; Nisku carbonates - Central Alberta; Cretaceous sands and Mississippian carbonates, oil and gas plays. Saskatchewan - S.E. Saskatchewan; Mississippian carbonate, stratigraphic plays (Souris/Workman - 1 million net bbls oil), Winnipegosis and Red River carbonate, structural plays (Minton - 5 million net bbls oil). - West Central Saskatchewan; Cretaceous sand channel plays for heavy oil (Eyehill - 1 million net bbls oil). Manitoba - Mississippian and Nisku carbonate oil plays. North Dakota - Mississippian carbonate, stratigraphic plays. Montana - Devonian Winnipegosis carbonate, structural plays.

Over the course of seven years was responsible for exploration in northeastern British Columbia, northern Alberta and the Northwest Territories, Alberta foothills and deep Devonian gas plays in western Alberta. • Added through team efforts, net reserves of 75 BCF of gas reserves from the Kiskatinaw/Belloy Formation at Boundary Lake, British Columbia and 500,000 net bbls of oil from the Charlie Lake Formation at Cycil in northern Alberta. • Involved in Canterra’s pursuit of the Caroline, Beaverhill Lake play. These efforts resulted in Canterra acquiring approximately 15 percent interest in the Caroline field. • Drilled several Glauconite gas wells along the west extension of the Hoadly Beach trend.

Managed the operation of the Calgary office. • Recovered from sublet tenants, $100,000 in back rents, which had gone undetected by previous management.

Controlled an exploration budget of $3 million annually. • Supervised exploration staff and exploration activity in Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. • Developed successful plays including Glauconite gas sands in central Alberta, Mississippian (Pekisko) erosional edge gas plays in west central Alberta, Slave Point reef gas in northeastern British Columbia, and Lower Cretaceous sand oil plays in southern Alberta.

Supervised a staff of 3 geologists • Successful plays included Buick Creek gas sands north of the Peace River block, Halfway gas sands in the Flatrock area, Bluesky and Halfway gas sands in the Beaton/Dahl areas as well as Slave Point reef gas in the Helmet and Hoss areas.
