As the ultimate user base to ensure that he has met our needs he has held forums, driven test pilots, and launched projects through company wide trainings. All of which have resulted in high adoption rates, and improved processes. Example 1) Through David’s leadership Gap Brand was able to fiscally see drastic improvements as he implemented a reporting model that monitored service levels for both fashion and basic sectors of the business. With his modeling and guidance for desired actions based on service level results myself, and other members of the inventory management team have been able to significantly improve and maintain higher service levels resulting in huge GM$ gains. Example 2) David is actively coordinating and building a tool and processes to update sku/store level history through on the back end through the company’s Demand Forecasting system. This tools functionality and automation will reduce and streamline what is currently a 3-day process. The work that David has done for Gap Brand feels endless as he has been a cross-functional leader for a multiple initiatives including but no limited to; service level initiatives, basics systems and tools, and international vendor integration.
