Reporting to the Group President, Acting as the subject matter expert for Health & Safety across the UK , India and Australia's 14 Operating Companies to develop the company’s culture of high performance and zero harm. Assisting leadership teams across the companies to meet their various responsibilities. Engaging with the network of Health & Safety leaders, and provide hands-on support, coaching, training, and expert advice to all levels.

Working in a subsidiary company of Hill & Smith Plc, reporting to the Managing Director as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Providing strategic guidance and direction to the business while delivering hands on support to 10 business locations across the United Kingdom. Driving continuous improvements across all sites through regular engagements with General Managers and the Health and Safety team. Continually assessing and reviewing business risks and challenges and offering pragmatic solutions to ensure the business is kept moving effectively and efficiently. Responsible for the development and support of 14 health and safety practitioners of various levels.

A member of the Senior Leadership Team, conducting daily site visits across the largest abattoir in the UK. Providing first hand support to operational departments and guidance to a large site team of 1400 staff which includes, engineering, hygiene, occupational health, contractors and a HSE team. Continually reviewing and proposing pragmatic measures necessary to comply with legislative and Group policies and procedures. Monitor and improve the effective implementation of appropriate health and safety systems.

Reporting to the Head of HSE as part of the Project Delivery HSE team. Conducting regular visits to operational locations providing first hand support and guidance to a large team of Construction and Engineering Managers, contractors and a team of HSE Advisors across all areas of the Sultanate of Oman. Propose measures necessary to comply with legislative and company policies and procedures. Monitor the effective implementation of appropriate safety and environment system procedures.

Lend professional expertise to Managing Director and Area Directors in all aspects of safety, occupational health and environmental issues.
