Since 2018 Mr Humphrey has been the CTO and Product Manager for the complete IDOL platform, covering video, audio image as well as text analytics. Mr Humphrey had held the position of Chief Technology Officer for the video analytics product range of HP Autonomy since 2005. Overseeing both the Surveillance and Broadcast Analytics business areas he acts as an ambassador for the R&D team liaising with sales, marketing and customers. He has over 20 years’ industrial experience with video analytics technology. From 1996 he held the positions of Head of Engineering and then Managing Director for Neurodynamics, before it was acquired by Autonomy Corporation in 2005. Neurodynamics offered video analytics software solutions for defense agencies, governments and major corporations around the globe. Prior to this, Mr. Humphrey was an Electronic Hardware Engineer in multiple industries including machine vision, supercomputing and instrumentation.Mr Humphrey graduated with a BSc (Hons) in electrical and electronic engineering from The University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institute of engineering and technology.
