• Managing the Oxford Town Hall, a grade 2* listed venue in the centre of Oxford delivering over 2900 meeting and events annually, achieving an annual income more than £1 million. These range from business conferences, parties & weddings, to community events, key civic functions & internal council events• Managing other council facilities with the largest being the main council offices housing 700 staff (pre-pandemic). Also responsible for certain council lets including office blocks & flats• Managing the Facilities Management department of the council responsible for cleaning, maintenance, SLA’s, and a fleet of company vehicles• Managing the new Museum of Oxford that celebrates the history of Oxford and its people and communities• Finance - Responsible for an overall income and expenditure budget of £3.05 million & maximising income at community facilities across Oxford. Annual income has been increased on average by 3% year on year whilst decreasing expenditure by 9%.• Project management and client lead of capital works in facilities on an annual basis averaging around £400k• Human resources – responsible for 27 full time employees plus part time staff and volunteers• Marketing – Leading on all aspects that has also included a re-brand and a new website• Organising events and building relationships with key stakeholders• Increasing the use of the Town Hall by the local community, including schools and people from less advantaged parts of the city
