Customer Service Telecommunication Technician
Current- Install, maintain, and repair residential small and large business hardware for telephone, internet and max television- Operate testing systems on lines and equipment- Coordinates network projects in a large enterprise environment- Troubleshoot and repair complex problems while maintaining time constraints - Integral part of a special projects team to train managers and employees to use new software- Solid understanding of Telecommunications, Fiber-optic and Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol Networks- In-depth understanding of computers and software related to work function- Follow safety regulations pertaining to specific work environments- Care of corporate vehicles, electronic equipment and tools- Active Union Representative to assist employees in understanding and adhering to the SaskTel collective agreement within the service technician role- Taking part in an in charge role while managers are away working with customer escalations, employees and other managers.
