These included but are not limited to Dredging Vessels and Barges, Drill Ships, Platform Rigs, Semi-Sub, Jackups, Land rigs. I was required to survey the job; after completion of the in-shop build, I traveled to the field to supervise installation, testing and commissioning of the units. The PLC Programming (Siemens / Toshiba / Interview) was completed onsite. After startup, I completed the documentation and drawings for the system. I was responsible for the training of onsite personnel in the operation and maintenance of equipment and handled trouble calls / startups for locations around the world.

I was responsible for collaboration on the design and supervised the build of the system in the shop; I traveled to the field and completed the installation, testing and commissioning of the units. The PLC Programming (Siemens / Allen Bradley)was completed onsite. After startup, I completed the documentation and drawings for the system. I was responsible for the training of onsite personnel in the operation and maintenance of equipment. I taught the electrical troubleshooting classes overseas when necessary using a translator in non-English speaking countries. I handled trouble calls / startups for locations around the world.

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing of electrical / electronic / pneumatic control equipment including SCADA equipment, Bristol RTUs, current to pressure transducers, pressure transmitters, differential transmitters, temperature transmitters, solar turbine (SATURN) wiring, relief valves, monitor valves, control valves, pneumatic controllers, fire detection, gas detection, automation of recip. compressors, PLC programming, Bristol programming, Wonder Ware programming, motors, starters, pneumatic fire loops, communication cables, densitometers, gravitometers, etc.

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, and field support for the following: RTVs, tank gauging systems, IBM computers and peripherals, factory acceptance tests, PDP ll/34's, TANDEMS, test equipment, telenex, modems, HPl400 Hand Held Computers, HP printers, LASER Jet printers, Auto Cad systems, CRTS, Aseas, ABB tesselators, & protocol converters. Writing of manuals on theory of operation and troubleshooting on above equipment.

Responsible for the designing, installation, and maintenance/repairs of pipeline and gas plant equipment including Daniels flow computers, CO2 monitors, Detronics fire and gas detection systems, electric motors, generators, valve set point controllers, annunciators (mag systems), tattletales, sampler valves, Rexnord gas detection systems, automatic gate controllers, control cabinets, UPS Best systems, programmable controllers, meter heads, and high voltage incoming breakers, switchgear, transformer banks, fuse cutouts, etc. Designed gas and fire detection layouts and designed rewiring of booster station and incoming three phase service.
