This solution addresses the challenge medical techs, clinicians, and inventory coordinators have managing Par and perpetual reorder points by incorporating historical usage to enable mass item updates items for min/max quantities. The solution facilitates accuracy in preference cards, case carts, and supply movements.-Designed the Healthcare Clinical System Integrations Framework. The framework produces a “case-cart predictive Par model” through interfaces with existing systems (Epic, OpTime, QSight, Kanban, horizontal and vertical carousels, Periop, Cath Labs, Surgical Supply, and Interventional Radiology). The heart of this solution is the ability to tie usage from the afore mentioned 3rd party systems into Oracle staging tables using SCM item ID’s and patient charge codes.-Oracle SCM Cloud strategy advisor for the planning of a new medical center with assessments and quick wins for a move to Oracle Cloud. This included targeted perpetual inventory for clinical supplies, animal research, obsolete item remediation, and sterile processing for med/surg supplies, including integrating their existing Kanban process.-Designed the “Conversion Framework”. The framework defined 4 fundamentals for managing large data sets: a.) Conversion and maintenance should be transactional, b.) Raw extracts are staged into work tables where original/legacy data is not altered, c.) Flexible “source to target” Xwalk data transformation engine to apply new code sets to legacy data, with transformation rules, and validations, d.) A conversion engine to populate production tables.
